International Association of Students in Agriculture and Related Sciences (IAAS) WORLD Elect New Executives.

The International Association of students in Agriculture and Related Sciences (IAAS) world, on 25th July 2019, during the 63rd IAAS WORLD Congress in Côte D’Ivoire, elected new executives for the association for 2019/2020 year.

The mission of IAAS WORLD is to promote and exchange experiences, knowledge and ideas to improve the mutual understanding among Students in the field of agriculture and related sciences all over the World.

The General Assembly, comprising over 50 countries worldwide, has its headquarters in Belgium.

The president elect for IAAS World, Diogo Rita from Portugal, said he is very happy to be elected to lead the board. He said that the association, under his leadership, would organize more technical programmes which would make positive impact and improve the knowledge and skills of students in the agricultural sector. He mentioned that more conferences would sprout to coordinate all the IAAS across the globe to move the association higher than it is today.

Richard Adu, the Local Director for IAAS KNUST, Ghana, was elected as the vice president of external relations for IAAS World. He expressed his profound gratitude and assured that he would do his maximum best to address the challenges that the students are facing.

At the end of the election and deliberations these are the executives of IAAS World 2019/2020.
