Job Summary
We are seeking a results‑driven Production Supervisor to oversee daily production activities across our food processing, fish‑farm, and vegetable production units. You will ensure operational efficiency, quality standards, safety compliance, and timely delivery of products while supporting the team to achieve productivity and cost‑effectiveness targets.
Key Responsibilities
Food Processing
– Supervise production line staff, shift hand‑overs, and manage workflow to meet output targets.
– Enforce GMP, and food‑safety protocols.
– Monitor equipment performance; coordinate routine maintenance and troubleshoot breakdowns.
– Track raw material usage, waste reduction, and inventory control.
Fish Farming
– Oversee pond/ tank operations – stocking, feeding, water‑quality monitoring, and harvest schedules.
– Implement biosecurity and health‑management plans; liaise with aquaculture technicians.
– Ensure compliance with environmental and welfare regulations.
Vegetable Production
– Manage planting, cultivation, harvesting, and post‑harvest handling of vegetables.
– Coordinate use of inputs (seeds, fertilizers, pesticides) .
– Optimize yield and quality while minimizing losses.
General
– Train, mentor, and evaluate subordinate staff; promote a safety‑first culture.
– Generate daily, weekly, and monthly production reports.
– Assist in cost‑control initiatives and continuous improvement projects.
Qualifications
- Diploma / HND/Degree in Food Science, Agriculture, Aquaculture, or related field.
– Strong knowledge of HACCP, GMP, GAP, and safety standards.
– Willingness to learn fast on the job
– Excellent leadership, communication, and problem‑solving skills.
